Yesterday, in my email inbox, I discovered a handful of YouTube comment notices about my videos. Turns out they were all from one person—an anthropogenic global warming proponent and YouTube troll by the name of Walloper10—a clueless man on a mission.
Note: It is possible that Walloper is this person’s last name, so I won’t comment on the meaning of Walloper in Scots, but I’m sure you’ll be happy to do so. It’s also possible Walloper10 believes he is a one-man skeptic hit (wallop) squad, without recognizing its other meaning. Or maybe he does understand it?
Not realizing the extent of Walloper10’s passion, I replied to the comments at first. Walloper10 must not have liked being called a troll, so he (a logical assumption on my part) rose to the task and his flood of comments got snagged in the YouTube spam filters. Apparently, being subdued there did not cause his longings to ebb, because Walloper10 was back again today in full form. See here, here, here and here. It appears he’s simply running through my channel. Lucky me. Well, at least he keeps my inbox full with YouTube notices.
I’ve stopped replying to Walloper10, other than to advise him of this blog post. There’s no need to answer him. The level of ignorance in his comments is the only thing that’s impressive about Walloper10.
